Table Manners at My Home

Manners are very important in life. Table manners are not only very common in foreign countries, but also very important in China, even in my home. Now let me introduce my table manners to you.
The first is the seat. The dining table in my home is square, so there are four seats to be served, but there are only three people in the family, so we have made a unified seating position. My father, as the oldest family member, is sitting in the seat facing the window. My mother, as the second oldest family member, is sitting opposite to my father. I am the youngest, sitting on my father’s right hand side. If a guest comes, he is sitting on my father’s left hand side.
Then the meal time, on holidays, we usually have breakfast at about 9:00 in the morning, lunch at about 1:00 in the afternoon and dinner at about 7:00 in the afternoon. On weekdays, we usually have breakfast at about 7:30 in the morning, lunch at about 12:30 in the morning and dinner at about 7:30 in the evening. Sometimes this will change according to the activities of the day.
The last is the manners in the meal. When eating, try not to make too much noise, and it is best not to talk unless there are very important things to say. Wash your hands before eating, after eating. Wipe your mouth and wash your hands again.
This is my family’s table manners. What about yours?
