My thoughts after reading ‘The little Prince’

This winter holiday, I read a very interesting book named ‘The little Prince’. It was a fairy tale. But I think it's actually a sad story. The little prince in the story was very hard-working. He was diligent, too. He took good care of his rose on his planet, B612. He also dredged the crater for quite long time. He pulled out the baobab tree. He was very alone on the B612. He only had one friend, the rose, which he took good care of. He loved the rose, and the rose loved him.
Once he was angry with the rose. So he traveled to seven other planets, 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, and the earth. He met many different people, such as the authoritative king. The geographer who did not like traveling. The little prince thought that adults are all very strange. And he hated their lives, too.
At last, he arrived the earth. He made friends with the little fox. He knew that his rose was not the unique in the universe. He also knew that he should take responsibility for the rose. But he could not go back to his own planet. It was really a sad love story.
When I first read this story in Grade One, I thought that it was just a fantastic fairy tale, just this. But when I read it again now, I think that there probably were some philosophies in the story. For example, there was a Turkish astronomer. He first found the planet,B612. But because of his small status and his clothes, he was denied. This could show us the folly of the world. There was a businessman, who was very careful in reckoning, and over saving time. It could symbolize the modern world took the wrong path because of overemphasis on saving time.
There are many good sentences in the book. They are philosophic, too. I can show some of them here.
Maybe there are 5000 flowers just like you in the world, but only you are my unique rose.
It is much harder to judge oneself than to judge others. If you succeed in judging yourself correctly, then you are a real wise man.
It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.
