Our Vegetable Garden（续写故事）

"Mom, can I have a small vegetable garden in the yard?” said Arthur, "so I can grow some sunflowers and vegetables."

"Yes, you can." Arthur's mother said.

"I can help you to grow the flowers and vegetables." D.W. said. 

"You can’t," said Arthur, "You don’t know how to grow them."

"I know!" said D.W.

"No, you don’t." said Arthur.

"You can grow them together." Said mom.

"Great!" said D.W. and Arthur, "We can grow the sunflowers and vegetables together."

"Let me grow the sunflowers." said D.W.

"I want to grow some vegetables." said Arthur.

"Here you are, some sunflower seeds, some tomato seeds, some carrot seeds and some corn seeds." said mom.

“Thank you, Mon!” said D.W. and Arthur.

Arthur and D.W. planted the seeds in rows by gently sprinkling them in lines, and then watered the seeds.

Whenever they had time, they would go to their favorite small garden. They watered them every day after school and occasional fertilization, weeding.

Soon autumn came, they harvested a lot of of sunflowers, tomatoes, carrots and corns.

Their laughter resounded through the small garden.
