Arthur's Visit to the Aquarium
Arthur and D.W. love going to the aquarium because they are fascinated by animals, especially those that live in the ocean.
When they get there, they see all kinds of animals. First, they see two batfish swimming over their heads.
“They look like ghosts!” says D.W.
“Relax,” Arthur says to D.W. “They are just fish and they are very friendly.”
“There are some big fish!” yells D.W..
“They are sharks and sharks are very scary.” says Arthur.
“Oh, yes! Look at their sharp teeth!” yells D.W.
In the next tank, they see a giant octopus, some turtles, colorful corals and a lot of jellyfish. An octopus has eight legs, and octopus can make a cloud of ink around itself. Jellyfish are very peaceful and beautiful. They drift in the water as cute as mushroom. D.W. says, “Wow, they are so lovely!”
Then, Arthur and D.W. see many sea horses. They are so small and they have no legs.
Arthur says, “They don’t look like horses, but like dinosaurs.”
“I think so,” D.W. says.
After lunch, D.W. and Arthur watch a Dolphin Show. The final hand-on experience is touching the dolphin. It is the funniest thing of the day for them!
