A Book Review 五年1班 赵心遥
I have read a book named <When Arthur Wouldn’t Sleep> in the winter vocation. It talks about a little horse named Arthur. One day, it was bedtime but he was still awake. ‘I don’t want to go to bed.’ He said to himself. He imagined that he could find a place where no one went to sleep. Then he “drove” a cloud hippo to a big cloud castle. The animals in the castle had a dancing competition. They danced, sang, bounced, pranced, twirled and enjoyed themselves. At last, Arthur won, but his leg felt like jelly. He needed to sleep. He “drove” his hippo back and slept whole day.
I like Arthur very much. We should learn from him. He has fertile imagination. Imagination is an important ability for writing a good composition. He even thinks that he can fly to a place where people don’t have to sleep. It is really a funny horse!
He didn’t go to bed, but this is an undesirable habit. If we don’t have enough sleep, we will feel terrible the next day. We’ll probably sleep in class and not pay attention in class. That will finally influence our test points.
What a funny horse! Please read this book and talk with me after reading.
