What a Wonderful Day (tidy, neighbour, fix)

Bobby, Cici, Emma and Mary are great friends. One day, they want some food but the shops are all closed because today is Sunday. Nobody is busy today and workers are having fun with their families. So, Bobby, Cici, Emma and Mary decide to go to a fancy supermarket to buy food, even though the food is really expensive. They don’t have any money, so they visit their neighbour, Jack, for some help.

Jack is fixing a car. He is very busy now, and he says, “Help me fix the car and I will give each of you five dollars.” But only Bobby is good at fixing cars, chairs, doors, toys, and also tables. Bobby is fixing the car now, and the rest of the group help Jack tidy the messy rooms. His house is so dirty and smelly that flies are all over it. Cici, Emma and Mary use so much water to wash it  that it soon becomes a large pool full of dirty water with dirt and dust. Jack is very angry and yells, “Go away! No money for you!” Bobby shakes his head and says, “Look, Jack, how cool your car is!” There are lots of colourful lights and cool pictures of Spider Man and robots on the car. The car also has brand new silver and dark blue wheels and it is as fast as a gust of wind. Music flies out from the open car window and flowers made of plastic are dancing at the back of the car. The rest of the car is bright red with much car oil on it and it is shining like stars. It looks wonderful!

Jack is so happy that he dances around and hugs Bobby. He gives Bobby twelve dollars for the car. Bobby says proudly, “I will be a super engineer when I grow up!” Cici, Emma and Mary dance and sing happily around Bobby, and then they go to the supermarket together. They buy lots of biscuits, ice cream, butter, bread, eggs, hams and sweets. Then, they go home and have a large meal together and clap their hands for Bobby.
